Description: College Park Drainage Improvements Phase II Construction Project NO VALUE IFB25-038 INVITATION FOR BID This is an invitation to submit a bid to the Glynn County Board of Commissioners for the College park Drainage Improvements Phase II Construction Project. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all labor, skill, equipment, materials and products as indicated in the plans and specifications for the installation of storm pipe and structures to include a 6'x4' box culvert and concrete ditch paving as indicated in the construction plans and specifications attached herein. The work will contain, but is not limited to, traffic control to include lane closures, clearing and grubbing, borrow, grading, dewatering, backfilling , grassing, storm drain and box culvert installation, water and sewer relocations, base/paving, and erosion control. All work shall be in accordance with the Technical Specifications, Special Provisions and the Construction Drawings.  All material shall conform to the specifications contained in the Technical Specifications. This is a Section 3 Covered Contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. Sealed bids will be accepted and time stamped electronically via the County's e-procurement Portal ("Portal") until 1:30 pm on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 . At 2:00 PM the bids will be opened in conference room 224 located on the 2nd floor of the Harold Pate Building located at 1725 Reynolds Street and will be publicly read. Additionally, the bid opening will be streamed live on the County's YouTube Channel. Instructions for preparation and submission of a bid-proposal are contained in this packet. Bids must be typed or printed in ink. Bids submitted for this invitation must include the "Bidders Response Schedule" and be returned online via the Portal. Bids may not be considered unless so received. There will be a Non-Mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project held on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 10:00 am at Administrative Conference Room #216 located on the 2nd floor of the Harold Pate Building 1725 Reynolds Street Brunswick Ga 31520 .  Any questions and /or misunderstandings that may arise from this invitation shall be submitted in writing via the e-Procurement Portal no later than Wednesday, January 15, 2025 . All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than Friday, January 17, 2025 . All questions are required to be submitted in written form. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this invitation for bid will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. All contact concerning this solicitation shall be made through the Procurement Officer. Bidders shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation.
