The City of Milton's (City) Effluent Sprayfields and Pipeline Route Clearing and Grubbing (Project)potentially may utilize funding from the State Revolving Fund Loan Program, RESTORE Grant Program, FloridaDepartment of Environment Protection Resiliency Grant Program, and other State/Federal Funds.A. PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The City of Milton is seeking a qualified firm or team to clear and grub approximately 350 wooded acres in preparationfor the installation of an effluent disposal system.The Project consists of the following:Clearing and grubbing and disposal of trees, snags, logs, brush, stumps, and rubbish from thedesignated areas.The CONTRACTOR’S bid shall include the purchase of all materials and equipment, including all applicable sales taxes, requiredto complete the project in its entirety.The CITY reserves the right to use Value Engineering which may be negotiated after award of the bid.The CITY reserves the right to use Owner direct-purchased materials (ODP) which may be negotiated after award of the bid,though it is not expected that the project will require any material purchase.• The CONTRACTOR shall prepare bills of materials for all materials and equipment required for purchase with theCONTRACTOR’S normal suppliers in lieu of issuing a purchase order.• The bills for materials shall be prepared as if the CONTRACTOR was issuing the purchase order himself and inaccordance with the plans and specifications.• The CONTRACTOR’S bills of materials should address the payment conditions, delivery location and all other pertinentinformation normally included on a CONTRACTOR’S purchase order.• The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for proper storage in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendationsuntil they are incorporated into the project.(The remainder of this page is intentionally left blank)Page 5 of 20Company Name
