Description: INVITATION TO BID Objective: McDuffie County Fire/EMS are seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified vendors who can provide the items listed below with a minimum of 1 year warranty.   These sealed bids may be mailed or dropped off at 210 Railroad Street Thomson, Georgia 30824 by Friday, September 26, 2025 @2:00 p.m. local time. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work described below will be for the purchase of and installation of a 300 kW Blue Star Generator, 277/480 volt, three phase, PMG, 60 Hz as well as automatic transfer switch and accessories, to be installed at Sweetwater Park. Scope of Work This scope of work shall include the delivery of all equipment, the offloading of equipment, installation of exhaust system, using a test system after installation by others, onsite training, NFPA 110 start up.  Four-hour load bank test, one hundred gallon test fuel, concrete pad, conduit, wiring, and a crane.  The scope of work that isn’t included in this could be  a tank full of diesel fuel and a type of fence for the equipment. Generator and accessories General Information 1. Include an itemized price for all equipment, supplies, and installation. 2. Vendor must be able to provide all equipment to submit a bid. 3. Vendor must provide an available delivery and installation date. Generator • Perkins Diesel engine w/ isochronous governor • Sound attenuated weather protective housing • Block heater • Digital Control Panel • 600 amp main line breaker • Full safety shutdowns • Critical exhaust system- mounted • Battery, rack and cables • Battery charger w/ alarms • Initial fill of antifreeze and oil •Forty-eight hour dual well base fuel tank- UL approved with low fuel and leak alarms • One year warranty Automatic Transfer Switch 600 amp automatic transfer switch, 277/480 volt, three phase, three pole, with the following features and accessories: Service entrance rated Plant exerciser Time delay engine start Time delay transfer to emergency Time delay retransfer to normal Test switch Nema 3R enclosure One year warranty, owner’s manual, remote annunciator, and E-stop Publication Date/Time: 9/11/2025 8:00 AM Publication Information: McDuffie County will receive sealed bids for a generator and installation.
