Project Description: The City of Wylie is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2025 through September 30, 2027, with the City’s option to extend the audit the City’s financial statements for each of the two (2) subsequent fiscal years. During the fiscal year(s) to be audited, the City may receive financial assistance from federal and state agencies.
In accordance with Government Code 2254; the City shall review the submitted proposals, and shall make the selection and award on the basis of demonstrated competence and qualifications to perform the services for a fair and reasonable price. Responsive proposals from qualified entities will be evaluated using the stated criteria and firm(s) may be selected for additional interviews or oral presentations as may be necessary.
