Description: Carteret County Government is seeking competitive proposals to complete the installation of a 20’ wide and approximately 5,100 linear feet of asphalt driveway to the County’s future boat ramp facility and the new North Carolina Coastal Federation facility at 4411 Highway 24 in Newport, North Carolina, PIN: 630503246341000. INVITATION TO BID CARTERET COUNTY GOVERNMENT BID #02-1725 4411 HIGHWAY 24 DRIVEWAY Sealed bids will be received until 1:00 PM EST on March 31, 2026, at: Carteret County Government Attn: Matt Reynal, Assistant County Manager 3820 Bridges Street, Suite B Morehead City, NC 28557 Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. The project consists of construction of an asphalt driveway at 4411 Highway 24, Newport, NC. A 5% bid bond is required. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. This project is being bid pursuant to N.C.G.S. 143-129.
