Description: The project consists of exterior facade improvements to the building at 104 E. Main Street, including repairing deteriorated wood elements such as the cornice and signband, replacing damaged storefront glazing while retaining existing frames, and installing new exterior light fixtures where missing or broken. Additional work includes sealing cracks at the front entry and facade, as well as preparing and repainting all wood components—shutters, trim, storefront framing, and ceiling—with a two-color scheme (colors to be determined). All work is focused on restoring the building’s appearance and integrity, with field verification required prior to construction. Business Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm Qualifications: Bidders must be properly licensed and qualified under applicable laws governing their respective trades and demonstrate experience in performing similar masonry restoration work. Contractors shall be capable of obtaining all required insurance and must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including safety, labor, and nondiscrimination requirements. Evidence of the ability to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents is required Special Requirements: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site, and attendance is required for all prospective bidders. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes on the forms provided, prior to the specified deadline, and clearly labeled per instructions. Contractors must review all contract documents, visit the site, and account for all existing conditions in their bids. All work must comply with governing regulations and project specifications, and no late submissions will be accepted.
