This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to identify and contract with an experienced licensed clinical supervisor who can support staff working toward clinical licensure. This project aims to ensure that staff seeking clinical licensure have access to regular and effective clinical supervision, thereby enhancing the quality of care received by ADS’ client population and supporting staff professional growth.
The County seeks to contract with a qualified mental health professional to provide individual clinical supervision services to ADS employees who are:

Currently pursuing licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Currently pursuing licensure as Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
-
Curren tly pursuing licensure as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
The anticipated duration for the contract will be for a period of one year, renewable for up to four years, based on satisfactory performance and funding availability. The contract may be terminated for cause or convenience with a written notice of at least thirty (30) days.
BackgroundAbout San Mateo County Aging and Disability Services (ADS):
San Mateo County ADS is a division of San Mateo County Health which provides comprehensive services to assist older adults, dependent adults, and people with disabilities of all ages to live as safely and independently as possible. ADS also administers the estates of deceased persons where no other administrator is available or willing to serve. Its programs include the Area Agency on Aging, Adult Protective Services, Public Guardian/Conservator, In-Home Supportive Services, In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority, Cal-AIM Enhanced Case Management, and Public Administrator.
