Description: Invitation for Written Response (IFWR) On-Call Roofing The Town of Longmeadow invites written responses from contractors for on call Roofing repair and maintenance as needed in accordance with M.G.L. c.149.  Payment is based on hourly rate and percentage markup above material cost. The Specifications and Contract Documents are available from the Town of Longmeadow, Purchasing Department, or may be obtained online through the Purchasing Department page of www.longmeadowma.gov . Written Responses will be received until 11:00am on Thursday, February 5, 2026 the written response submission deadline.  Written responses may be emailed or mailed to the following mailing address: Town of Longmeadow, Purchasing Department, Attn: Chad Thompson- Director of Procurement, 231 Maple Road, Longmeadow, MA 01106. No bid deposit is required with written response submissions.  There will be no public bid opening following the deadline as it is not required for IFWR. A bid tab once prepared will be emailed to those that submitted written responses and will be posted online. In the event that the cost of construction of an actual order is more than $25,000 for on-call services, then a 50% Payment Bond will be required of the contractor.  Prevailing wage is required. The Town of Longmeadow, acting through the Town Manager, the Awarding Authority reserves the right to reject any and all responses, and to waive minor informalities and to award a contract in the best interest of the Town of Longmeadow.
