Sealed proposals, addressed to:INVITATION TO BIDCity of LamarCity Hall132 W. 10th StreetLamar, MO 64759and endorsed "Proposal" for construction of Federal Aid Project No. TAP-9900(793), Gulf Street Sidewalk Improvementswill be received by the City until 10:00 A.M., May 21, 2026 Local Time at the office of City Hall located at 132 West 10th Street,Lamar, MO 64759, and at that time will be publicly opened and read aloud.Project Description: Construction of approximately 1,790 linear feet of sidewalk and driveway approaches along GulfStreet (from W. 6th to W. 9th Street). The scope of work involves demolition of existing infrastructure, installation ofaggregate base, new concrete sidewalks and curb ramps compliant with ADA standards, driveway approaches, curband gutter, and surface restoration. The project also includes traffic control, utility coordination, and compliance withMoDOT specifications.Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify Rusty Rives, CityAdministrator at 417-682-5554 or through Missouri Relay System, TDD 1-800-735-2966 at least five (5) working days prior tothe bid opening you plan to attend.The wage rates applicable to this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal.When Federal wage rates are applicable and included, this contract is subject to the "Work Hours Act of 1962," (P.L. 87-581; 76Stat. 357) and implementing regulations.The City of Lamar hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to thisadvertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded fullopportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color,religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award.The DBE Contract goal is set at 0.0% with a trainee goal of 0.At least 7 days prior to the time set for the bid opening, each prospective bidder, including a joint venture, shall file a contractorquestionnaire on the form furnished by the Missouri Department of Transportation, which is available on MoDOT’s website.To obtain DIGITAL Plans and Specifications, please log on to www.amce.com, website for Allgeier, Martin and Associates, Inc.,and click on the tab marked “Plan Room” and enter Project #10171296.
