Scope of Services
The intent of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to establish firm-fixed pricing for the School Board of Volusia County, Florida (herein referred to as the “District”) for qualified commercial charter bus carriers to provide transportation services on an as-needed basis. These services support a broad range of student activities including academic field trips, athletic competitions, band performances, chorus events, and other school-sponsored travel. Transportation needs span in-county, out-of-county, in-state, and out-of-state destinations, requiring carriers that can reliably accommodate varying travel distances, group sizes, and scheduling demands throughout the academic year. Awarded carriers must demonstrate the operational capacity, licensing, insurance, and safety compliance necessary to fulfill transportation requests across all event types and service categories described.
