Bids will be received at the offices ofPinellas County Housing Authority located at 11479 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL 33778-1602. Bids received after bid due date/time will automatically be disqualified. Nobidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date.DURATION: Estimate 230 calendar days to complete project ~ details in Exhibit APROPOSAL FORM: Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms as furnishedin the Bid Documents and must be signed by a legal officer of the company withcompany name, address, date, etc.; failure to do so may result in bid beingconsidered non-responsive. Proposers may satisfy this requirement through an existing local facilityor by establishing one prior to contract execution.BONDING: A Bid Bond and Performance and Payment Bond is required for thisProject.LIQUADATED DAMAGES: $750 per day ~ details in Exhibit APREBID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Project Siteon Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM to observe the actual conditions ofthe construction in place. The meeting will be conducted by the Architect. Contractorsor their representatives are encouraged to be in attendance. All questions shall bedirected to the office of the Architect.The Owner reserves the right to waive minor formalities in any bid and to accept anybid which they consider to be in their best interest and to reject any part of, or any andall bids. The Owner also reserves the right to limit the bidders to such Contractors thatcan submit evidence of their respective experience and ability to construct the work.Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidders provided thatthe Bids are reasonable, and it is in the best interest of the Owner to accept it.IMPORTANT NOTICE: PCHA reserves the right to request additional information and/orsubmission of documents concerning any and/or all bids submitted. A request foradditional information will be faxed to bidder within 48 hours of the deadlineestablished by PCHA for submission of additional information.
