Description: The City of New Rochelle seeks proposals from New York-licensed, insured law firms or experienced solo practitioners to serve as outside legal counsel. Candidates must have expertise in one or more areas, including municipal, state, and public sector law; tort law; civil rights and constitutional law (including Title 42, Section 1983); land use and zoning; real estate law; environmental law; employment law; and/or municipal bonding. One or more firms/individuals may be selected on an as-needed basis under the direction of the City’s Corporation Counsel. The City reserves the right to retain additional attorneys or special counsel as necessary. All questions must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Dawn M.
