Description: The City of Fort Pierce’s invites qualified vendors to submit a proposal for Aquatic and Ditch Bank Vegetative Control and Lake Maintenance required by the Engineering Department on an annual basis. The purpose of the Aquatic and Ditch Bank Vegetative Control is to manage the unwanted vegetation in aquatic and riparian environments as well as control of terrestrial weeds growing on banks adjacent to water in the drainage canals, bio-swales, outfalls, as shown on the attached maps on a monthly basis.  The Lake Maintenance Program includes an approximately 23-acre retention pond, located north of the Public Works compound located at 52 Savannah Road. Also, this program will include Veterans Memorial Park pond, a lined pond and Georgia Avenue Drainage Basin.
