This letter is to advise all prospective bidders of the following contract addendum:

Proposal Changes: Added Permits. See pages P-1 thru P-179; Added Structure Special Provisions.

Additional Questions Submitted:

1. Are we to remove all remnants of the old bridge? What are the means of

access for doing so if the components are outside the reach of the temp

bridges?

Answer: Remove only components in conflict with new bridge

construction

2. Is an impervious dike really required to install drilled shafts? Typically, a

floating turbidity curtain is sufficient.

Answer: Impervious area will be needed at this location.
