Village of Glencoe RFP #25-025 Glencoe Golf Club Audio Visual EquipmentAddendum #1December 17, 2025The RFP #25-025 Glencoe Golf Club Audio Visual Equipment is due on December 23, 2025at 11:00 a.m. at the Village Hall, 675 Village Ct., Glencoe, IL 60022.Staff has provided answers to questions received:1. Can we have a walk through the site? No, building is currently underconstruction.2. Is the building new construction? Yes3. Was there a pre-bid meeting? No4. Is Union Labor required? Yes5. Is prevailing wage required? Yes6. What are the electrical duties the awarded vendor? All of the connections will beproperly terminated, rough-in trim, no electrical duties required.7. How much of the system has already been designed by the consultants? The AVportion of the building is an Owner’s Item and will be designed by the companychosen for the proposal. (matrix design and implementation of a custom AP,iPad etc.)8. Is the turn stand display meant to be outdoor equipped? No9. When is the installation date? Estimated to be in the spring based onconstruction schedule.10. Project timeline of completion? New clubhouse is estimated to open July of 2026.11. Do you know how many cable box sources you are going to have? Anticipatingeight boxes.12. Where is the equipment rack location? Data rack in the mechanical electricalroom F.1 in the shared documents.13. What size displays are you looking for? A4.10 shows the sizes.14. Do you have an equipment list? Noa. with quantity15. Regarding the Rough-in – The document states: ( All rough-in work will be completed byproject contractors. Bidders must agree to coordinate with other subcontractors to ensurecohesive installation) Should the bid include rough in only for AV system components andno other low voltage systems such as Ubiqiti systems WiFi APs, cameras, data jacks foroffices and POS? Rough-in is not required and will be performed by the electrician.16. Private dining room: Section 2 of scope of work states: Wireless microphone/ presentationhub in main dining and private dining- integrate projector into main dining room andcommercial tv display in private dining. Fully integrate with audio sound systems. Can youconfirm the display type for the private dining room is a projector and not a wall mounted TVdisplay? The display will be a wall-mounted TV not a projector.17. AV Head End location: Is there an AV rack in the same location as the data rack next to thejanitor closet? Yes18. Is there a Union labor requirement? This is a Union Labor/prevailing wage project.19. Golf simulator installations: AV contractor to provide TV displays for golf simulators or isgolf simulator contractor providing these? The AV contractor is providing the displays.20. Specialty Equipment Detailsa. The specifications reference Sheet A6.4 for specialty equipment details; however,the issued drawing set ends at Sheet A4.30, and Sheet A6.4 was not included. DoesSheet A6.4 exist and should it be included in the issued set? SHEET A6.4 ISATTACHEDb. If Sheet A6.4 does not exist, please clarify how specialty equipment details (e.g.,projector and screen requirements) should be addressed. N/A21. Visual Display Responsibility The charts on pages A4.00 and A4.10 of the RFP referenceSheet A6.6 and note “Visual Display by Others.” Who is responsible for providing andinstalling visual display devices (e.g., monitors, projection screens)? THE AV CONTRACTOR22. Is an AV contractor already contracted for this portion of the work, or is this scope intendedfor others (e.g., owner, furniture vendor)? THIS WORK IS PART OF THE RFP23. Should the proposal include all supporting AV infrastructure (e.g., speakers, cabling,backbone, control systems) excluding the displays themselves?
