TO BIDDERS AND PLAN HOLDERS ON THE ABOVE REFERENCED PROJECT: PLEASE NOTE CONTENTS HEREIN AND INCLUDE, SIGNED, WITH YOUR BID SUBMISSION.
NOTICEIt will be required that this addendum be signed in acknowledgment of receipt and that it be included with your Bid when same is submitted to Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000. Failure to do so may be grounds for rejection of the Bid.

The following statements supersede & supplement the corresponding items in the specifications & drawings:
A. The bid submittal due date and bid posting date for this project have been postponed:
BID SUBMITTAL DUE DATE: No later than 3:30 PM (ET), Tuesday, May 19, 2026, to the below address: Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction, 3800 Commonwealth Blvd., MS #520, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399-3000, Attention: Logan Lee-Marple, Contracts Specialist, Bureau of Design and Construction, (850) 245-2519. (For hand delivery: Carr Building, Welcome Desk.) The Department reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
BID POSTING DATE: No later than 3:30 PM (ET), Tuesday, May 26, 2026, unless extended by the Department for good cause.
B. The following items are questions regarding the plans:
1. Question: Please verify if the concrete posts on site are survey markers. If so, please confirm if these need to be protected during construction.
Answer: These appear to be just concrete posts on site. We recommend protecting the posts unless directed otherwise by Owner.
2. Question: The drainage area to be graded south of the bathhouse contains many more trees than shown on the plans. Please confirm if these trees are all to be removed.
Answer: Trees are to remain. Revising the grading plan to avoid removing trees.
3. Question: Will the contractor be responsible for utility costs for water and electricity used during construction? If so, please provide the names of each company and estimated monthly amounts if possible.
Answer: Yes, contractor's usage of electricity with Clay Electric and well for water. Monthly electric charges range from $150-200, as the campground is currently closed.
4. Question: Will the campground be closed for construction? If no, are there alternate restrooms for guests to use?
Answer: Campground is currently closed until completion of construction.
5. Question: Is the typical DEP project information and lien signage required? Please indicate the specific temporary project signage quantities, requirements, and locations.
Answer: Yes, refer to 'Instruction to Bidders' and location will be finalized at the pre-construction meeting.
6. Question: Is there supposed to be a walkable surface in the attic, since an access ladder is called out?
Answer: Not require
