PROJECT:   POWER LINE RELOCATION FOR ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION PROJECT NO. BR-0063(507) – AL HWY 63 BRIDGE REPLACEMENT – SUGAR CREEK –

BID NO. 25-06 ALEXANDER CITY LIGHT DEPARTMENT ALEXANDER CITY, ALABAMA

Separate sealed bids for Power Line Relocation for Alabama Department of Transportation Project No. BR-0063(507), line relocation along AL Hwy 63 Bridge Replacement over Sugar Creek (BID NO. 25-06) will be received in the Office of City Hall, 281 James D. Nabors, Dr., Alexander City, AL  35010, on or before January 23, 2025 at 2:00 P.M., at which time and place they will be opened and read aloud.  The BID NUMBER, BID TITLE, GENERAL CONTRACTORS LICENSE NUMBER, and BID OPENING DATE must be clearly labeled on the bid envelope.
The project will consist of UNIT LABOR only for construction, clearing right-of-way, and traffic control:

Relocating a 3 Phase power line on AL Hwy 63 – Sugar Creek Bridge Replacement, consisting of approximately five (5) new 3 Phase poles, two (2) secondary poles, and approximately 700 ft. of clearing right-of-way from pole six (6) to pole sixteen (16) with accessibility to poles.
NOTE:  Owner to furnish all material.

Drawings, Specifications and Contract Documents may be examined at the office of the Owner or at the office of the Engineer.  Copies may be obtained from Stewart Engineering, Inc., Electrical Consultants, P. O. Box 2233, Anniston, AL 36202, upon payment of $150.00 for each set, none of which will be refunded. Three copies of Drawings and Specifications will be furnished to the successful bidder for construction purposes, without charge and additional Drawings and Specifications will be available to the successful bidder at their cost of reproduction.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor under the laws of the State of Alabama and will be required to advertise completion of the contract in accordance with Alabama State Law.
