Bid Title: RFP for Economic Development Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Reporting Software
Category: City of West Fargo RFP Status: Open Description: The City of West Fargo Economic Development Department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Reporting Software solution. This initiative aims to strengthen the City’s economic development operations through improved tracking of business retention and expansion (BRE) efforts, investment lead management, and enhanced data-driven decision-making. The system should empower staff to more effectively communicate with local businesses, investors, and partners while providing real-time insights into West Fargo’s business climate. We invite your organization to submit a proposal detailing how your software solution and implementation approach can meet these needs. The City of West Fargo is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to acquire a cloud-based CRM and Reporting Software solution designed to streamline and modernize the City’s economic development processes. This system will support approximately 5–7 users, including the Economic Development Director and team, the Senior Director of Community Development, and members of the City Planning Department. Key project goals include:
1. Tracking and managing business retention and expansion (BRE) activities.
2. Capturing and nurturing investment leads.
3. Enabling two-way communication with businesses and partners.
4. Allowing tagging and data categorization for effective segmentation and reporting.
5. Delivering custom dashboards, analytics, and visualization tools.
6. Providing integration capabilities with GIS systems and the City’s website.
The City seeks a cloud-based SaaS solution that is secure, configurable, and easy to maintain. Implementation is targeted for Quarter 1 of 2026, with proposals due January 7th, 2026.
