Fabricate and install a oak post, recessive oak wall panels, and laminate countertop. All posts, wall panels, and structure for clerk counter will match existing baseboard in the District Attorney's Office. Contractor will accommodate dimensions for decorative oak posts to support the structure of the clerk counter partitions (defined in plans) and wall panels. The post will be constructed from wood and supported by post brackets and must be finished to match the same color. All wood surfaces should be properly light stained and finished to eliminate any potential safety hazards.
Transaction Window:
County will supply the primary transaction glass window. Contractor shall provide and install the aluminum window frame w/stops, along with custom tempered panels (x3) and speaker vent.
Electrical Work:
Relocate existing electrical outlet and switch as required to accommodate the new counter layout. Provide all electrical labor and materials in compliance with California Electrical Codes. If any required demolition is required for electrical work the contractor will also include all materials necessarily needed for electrical work for any demolition or repairs.
Contractor shall provide shop drawings, furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of a clerk counter partition and the relocation of an electrical outlet and switch. Contractor must perform daily progressive cleanup as well as final post-construction cleanup. If the specified sample or material indicated in the plan is unavailable, the contractor shall propose a comparable alternative that matches the intended appearance, quality, and performance characteristics. All substitutions must be submitted for review and MUST be approved by County Engineer prior to ordering or installation. Contractor will provide carpet to match existing patch in the proposed location.
All work shall comply with required 2022 California Building Code Standards, California Electrical Codes and County Specifications. Contractor shall coordinate with County Engineer for approval of finishes and final design details.
