The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) intends to renew an agreement with the Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA), for up to 3 years for access to Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) Administrative Data Sets . This solution is administrative data from hospitals in the State of Minnesota. This includes inpatient and outpatient data sets that contain specific records pertaining to Minnesota residents seen at hospitals. The Minnesota Hospital Discharge Data is essential for MDH research and reporting requirements

MDH has determined that MHA is the sole source for uniform bill (UB) administrative data from hospitals in the State of Minnesota.
