Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Whatcom County Administrative Services Finance/Purchasing at their office on the fifth floor of the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225 for purchase and installation of the following: Central Shop Underground Fuel Storage Tank Removal and Remediation UNTIL: 2:30 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2025 At which time and place the bids will be opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested persons are invited to watch the virtual bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered. Whatcom County Public Works requests bids for the Central Shop Underground Fuel Storage Tank Removal and Remediation project. The construction contract includes removal of above- and below-ground fueling components, decommissioning of underground storage tanks, the excavation of petroleum-impacted (Class 2) soil and petroleum-contaminated (Class 3) soil, dewatering and treatment of extracted groundwater, transport and disposal/recycling of excavated materials, site restoration., and other work, as further described in the bid documents.
