Sealed proposals will be received by NC State University. Attention Michele Maxwell, until 3:00 pm on September 23, 2025, in Conference Room 301, Administrative Services III Building 2601 Wolf Village Way, Raleigh, NC 27695, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the construction of:

This project will renovate approximately 22,500 GSF of existing space on the first floor in Research Building IV in the Centennial Campus precinct. The renovations will improve space efficiencies and create engineering program-specific space to support college growth. The scope of design services includes, but is not limited to, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and telecommunications. The Project will be completed in two phases. The building is occupied by private tenants on the upper floors, and construction disruptions will need to be mitigated.

Bids will be received for single prime bid contracts. All Proposals will be lump sum.

A Pre-bid meeting is mandatory and will be held for all interested bidders on September 9, 2025, at 3:00 pm in Room 1700 of Research Building IV at 909 Capability Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606. The meeting will include a site visit and will address project-specific questions.

When: September 9, 2025, at 2:45 pm Eastern Time

An open public meeting will be held on September 9, 2025, at 2:45p.m in Room 1700 of Research Building IV at 909 Capability Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606. The meeting is to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project.

In accordance with GS133-3, Section 64. (C) and State Construction Office procedures the following preferred brand items are being considered as Alternates by the owner for this project:

Electrified Door Hardware

Mechanical Door Hardware

Building HVAC Controls
