Project Description: Louisville Metro Emergency Services is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for a 911 Medical Call Diversion Program to divert Low Acuity Medical Calls from the Emergency Medical Services and to a more appropriate care pathway. Callers that meet a defined criteria will be directed to a medical professional and triaged over the phone. Once the level of care or need for this caller is understood, a care pathway will be developed and initiated. In-home instructions, appropriate medical care facility, contact of PCP and Telehealth are among options. Transportation will also be arrange to and from determined care path.
