Description: QUALIFYING FEES SET FOR 2025 MUNICIPAL ELECTION The City of Tifton provides notice, pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 21-2-131(a)(1), that in the election to be held on November 4, 2025, the qualifying fee for City Council District 1 and District 3 shall be $207.00.  The qualifying fee shall be paid at the time a candidate qualifies. City Council District 1 - Position currently held by Josh Reynolds City Council District 3 - Position currently held by Lester Cromer, Jr. Qualifying for the offices listed above will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, and will end at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025.
