Bid Title: KINGSBURG 2026 STREETS PROJECT

Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Kingsburg, 1401
Draper Street, Kingsburg, CA 93631 until 1:30p.m. on May 12, 2026 at which time they will be
publicly opened and read at said office, for construction in accordance with the specifications
therefore, to which special reference is made as follows:
KINGSBURG 2026 STREETS PROJECT
The work to be done, in general, includes surface preparation, grinding, hot mix asphalt,
pavement striping, concrete improvements, utility adjustments, resetting monuments and
markers and markings.
Physical copies of plans and specifications applying to this project may be reviewed and
purchased at: Peters Engineering Group, 862 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612 at the
non-refundable price of $40.00 per set. Checks shall be made payable to the City of Kingsburg.
Plans and specifications may also be viewed on the website of the Central California Builders
Exchange and the Tulare / Kings County Builders Exchange or downloaded from the City’s
website. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the City’s website for any project addendums
and submitting the acknowledged addendums with the bid documents. Any bid proposal
submitted without all addendums acknowledged will be deemed non-responsive.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Kingsburg and labeled
with the name of the bidder, the name of the project and the statement "Do Not Open Until
the Time of Bid Opening."

Bid security shall bemade in favor of the City of Kingsburg.No contract will be awarded to a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with theprovisions of the Contractors State License Law, California Business and Professions Code,Division 5, Chapter 9, as amended, or whose bid is not on the proposal form included in thecontract document. A valid California Contractor's License, Class A, General Engineering, isrequired for this project.A contractor or subcontractor shall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal,subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code or engage in theperformance of any contract for public work, as defined in this chapter, unless currentlyregistered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.
