Description: The City of Independence, Kansas, is accepting sealed bids for the purchase of up to two (2) truck-mounted salt/sand spreaders for use by the Public Works Department. Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 811 W. Laurel Street, Independence, Kansas, until 2pm on April 2, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid bond is required for this project. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
