Overview

Summary

Greenville County Solid Waste Division is looking to hire a hauler to transport county owned solid waste transfer and tanker trailers from various locations around the county to the Twin Chimneys Landfill. Solid Waste hauling will mostly be an as needed supplement to our fleet of trucks and drivers. The Solid Waste Division will heavily rely on supplemental help for the few weeks after the Christmas holiday when our drop off centers are extremely busy. Tanker trailers will be scheduled for three locations between 6-8 times per year each.

Background

Greenville County owns a fleet of trucks and trailers but has run into some situations where the county could not keep up with the demand of our Residential Waste and Recycling Center. We are looking to have an option for help as needed.
