Bidder shall provide three tuck mounted Traffic Regulators including installation. Units shall meet the following minimum specifications.

Reference make Actus Manufacturing-Reference model 800-0004-01-SDADD 3-in-1 Traffic Commander

The Traffic Regulator serves as a three-in-one traffic advisor:

1) LED message board in the upright position.

2) 18-lamp light bar in the stowed position.

3) LED arrow board in upright position.

Features shall include:

Dimensions: 62 W x 26 T x 6 D

Weight: 134 lbs.

Included wiring shall consist of:

o12V 20 12 ga. power and ground wires

o16 ga. red switch wire

4 bolt installation including 3/8" hardware

Wired operation with pre-programmed control dial included

The Traffic Regulator shall raise or lower in less than three seconds.

4 LED modules. Shall be field replaceable

18 inch block letters shall meet MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) requirements

16 LED light bar in stowed position

2 additional warning lights on forward-facing side

Unit shall Legible from 1,000 feet

Unit shall Visible from 3,000 feet

Unit shall be legible up to 30-degree angle in upright position

Board angle shall be adjusted electronically

Unit frame shall be powder-coated black aluminum

Frame shall have weatherproof with weeping holes and shall be a waterproof design to withstand harsh weather conditions, including rain,

sleet and snow

Frame shall be vibration resistant

The unit shall have a pre-loaded twenty-eight message library

Operation and installation instructions included

Mounting shall include pylon or truck rack to increase versatility

The LED board shall be designed with the following feature:

oWeatherproof 8x12-pixel LED displays

oEach LED brick can shall be replaceable in the field

oThere shall not be a poly-carbonate shell to trap condensation and cause fogging and discoloration

Installation

Installation shall be provided on the following City of Cleveland vehicles:

2L2921: 2024 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Pickup

2L3021: 2025 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Pickup

2L3028: 2025 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Pickup

Installation shall include labor to remove and return existing headache rack and lightbar installed on vehicle.

Supply and install Addco model 800-0004-01-SDADD traffic regulator(Or Equal) with rack mount, (18) amber flashers, and sign dial.

Rack mount shall be bolted through bed frame and adjusted to provide a minimum gap of 3-4 from top of cab in the stowed position. Sign

board to be max. 30-amp circuit protected and wired to upfitter switch 5 or 6 ignition hot.

Sign dial to be mounted to left side (preferred) or right side of radio screen in center stack below air vent. Dial is pre-programmed for sign

board messages and lighting functions.

Price quoted shall be F.O.B. delivered to the place designated on purchase order. No other terms will be acceptable.

Delivery quoted must be stated in terms of work days after receipt of the order.

All charges for shipping must be included within the Unit Price for each item quote unless otherwise designated by a separate line with a

specified dollar amount inclusive of all shipping charges.

No freight charges will be considered nor processed for payment unless apart of the original quote submitted prior to bid award.
