Summary

Citrus County, Florida (“County”) invites interested parties to submit a Bid for ITB 25-164 Construction of a New Animal Shelter Facility in Lecanto, Florida located at 3150 W. Woodland Ridge Drive, Lecanto, Florida, including but not limited to, construction of a one-story building, site work, fill, utilities, drainage, grading, paving sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, fencing, directional signage, safety, and barricading. Contractor will comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, codes and ADA requirements. Contractor will be responsible for all applicable licenses, permits, and fee/charges applicable to this project.

List of Permits that the County has applied for and waiting final approval:

The SWFWMD permit application number is 908399. (pending approval)

The County Site permit application number is BLD202509087. (pending approval)

The County Building permit application number is BLD202508572. (pending approval until Site Permit is approved)

Current Facility - Adoption/Stray/Quarantine/Isolation: Cat Cages: 16 Original Cages Dog Kennels: Runs:(upper and lower bldgs.) 68 Runs Original Bacon Program- Adoption/Stray/Quarantine/Isolation: Cat Cages: (Cat Condo) 88 Cages Dog Kennels: 106 Runs Intake Hold Rooms Dogs and Cats: 2 large dog cages and 4 Cat Cages MLM Verified Program- Adoption/Stray/Quarantine/Isolation: Cat Cages: (Cat Condo + HVAC Cattery) 84 Cages Dog Kennels: 100 Runs Intake Hold Rooms Dog and Cats: 4 large Dog Cages and 8 Cat Cages Future Expansion 56 Dog runs and 52 Cat condos.
