Description: The City of Antioch seeks to retain the services of a qualified contractor to perform pigging operations for the City on an as-needed basis. The City intends to enter into a three (3)-year agreement with the selected consultant, with the option, at the City’s sole discretion, to extend the contract two (2) additional years. The City operates a 4.3-mile-long brine line that will need to be pigged routinely to maintain the integrity and operation of the system. Pig launching and retrieval station have been installed at either end of the pipeline. Pigging operations will begin at the City’s Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 401 Putnam St, Antioch, CA 94509, and will be recovered at Delta Diablo located at 2500 Pittsburg-Antioch Hwy, Antioch, CA 94509.
