Description: The Government Street, I Street and Barrancas Avenue intersection improvement project is part of the City of Pensacola’s plan to improve pedestrian safety, roadway safety, and traffic signal resiliency in the city. These improvements include ADA ramps, improved pedestrian sidewalks, pedestrian signals, marked crosswalks, traffic signal mast arms, street lights, and other related work as shown in plans designed by Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. and street light photometrics and requirements provided by the city. The proposed improvements shall meet City and FDOT standards and specifications. The project shall be constructed in 180 days from the notice to proceed date.
