Summary

Greenville County is seeking proposals from vendor's to Brush Hog and trim grass areas, roadsides and ditches at a total of four (4) landfill sites. This includes three (3) landfills in post closure compliance and one (1) active landfill. The locations are as follows:

• Blackberry Valley Landfill, 413 Blackberry Valley Road, Greenville 29617

• Piedmont Landfill, 170 Owens Road, Piedmont 29673

• Enoree Landfill, 1311 Anderson Ridge Road, Greer 29650

• Twin Chimney's Landfill, 11075 Augusta Road, Honea Path 29654

Background

South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) imposes a regulatory requirement for maintenance of active and closed landfill capping systems and their associated stormwater conveyance systems like sweals, berms, benches and road shoulders.
