Contractors are responsible for acknowledging receipt of this addendum by completing the Addenda

Acknowledgement form in the bid proposal packet. This addendum is also posted on the City’s website

(www.fortogov.com) under the Bids and Proposals tab (https://fortogov.com/bids-proposals/).

1. Question: Are you able to provide any type of sketch of the proposed new fence – the existing fence

and the evidence compound fence.

Answer: A sketch of the project is attached.

2. Question: We are looking for the number of turns-corner posts-for the new fence installation.

Answer: A sketch of the project is attached.

3. Question: Also, we assume you are providing the electrical work for the gate operators. Please

advise.

Answer: The contractor will be required to trench/conduit the electrical to the gate controllers.

4. Question: Will all of the existing gates that are being re-used become part of the new fence line?

Answer: yes

5. Question: On the automated gates, do you want exit loops and safety loops as well as IReye for

safety?

Answer: yes

6. Question: Could you provide the approximate length/distance the razor wire will be around the

evidence room?

Answer: We do not have an approximate length; however, it will be along the entire blue section on

the sketch.

7. Question: Can I get a copy of the pre-bid meeting sign in sheet and/or plan holder’s list if available.

Answer: The sign-in sheet for the pre-bid meeting is attached.
