Bid Security & Bonding Requirements

• Bid Security: 10% of the bid amount

  • Must be a certified bank check or acceptable bid bond

  • Payable to Elk County Board of Commissioners

• Required Upon Award:

  • Performance Bond: 100% of contract price

  • Payment Bond: 100% of contract price

  • Maintenance Bond upon completion

Mandatory Inclusions

• Signed Non-Collusion Affidavit (contained in contract documents)

• Documentation of MBE/WBE solicitations and commitments

  • Must be submitted with the bid

  • Bids lacking this documentation may be rejected

Labor & Compliance Requirements
