INVITATION TO BID

CITY OF ST. CLAIR SHORES
MACOMB COUNTY, MICHIGAN
PUBLIC POOL HOUSE RENOVATIONS

The City of St. Clair Shores is accepting proposals for the PUBLIC POOL HOUSE RENOVATIONS in the City of St. Clair Shores, Macomb County, Michigan.

The proposed building renovations project involves the total renovations to the building to meet EGLE and ADA compliance on the interior of the building and the complete removal of the existing roof and supports system for a new trusses and roof configuration. Also included in the project is electrical, mechanical and plumbing renovations throughout the building with a few areas added onto the north side of the existing building.

Bids will be received by the City of St. Clair Shores until the date and time listed below. The anticipated start date, weather permitting, is September 8, 2026. The project should be substantially completed by May 1, 2027, with final completion by May 28, 2027.

Contract documents will be available electronically at no charge starting Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 after 3:00pm through Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) at www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn. A public viewing copy is available at the City of St. Clair Shores, 27600 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.

There will be a pre-bid meeting held at St. Clair Shores Public Pool, 27600 Jefferson Avenue, St. Clair Shores, MI 48081, located behind City Hall on Wednesday, July 22th, 2026, at 10:00 am (local time). Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting and visit the project site. Please note that while the pre-bid is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended.
