Project Description: It is the intent of the City of Brownsville, Texas, to solicit sealed competitive bids for the Coffee Road @ Hike and Bike Trail Improvements Project. The project will replace the existing overhead flashing beacon with a fully signalized Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (HAWK) High-Intensity Activated Crosswalk system at the Coffee Road trail crossing to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards.
