Box 7603, Convent Station, New Jersey09761-7603, at which time and place bids will be opened and read in public for:OTE: 2025-03BUTTERWORTHSEWAGE TREATMENT PLANTROOF REPLACEMENT AT GENERATOR BUILDINGThe Contract Documents may be reviewed online at no cost at www.bidset.com/mott or at the Township ofMorris Administrator’s Office/Purchasing Department, Municipal Building, 50 Woodland Avenue, P.O. Box 7603,Convent Station, New Jersey, 07961-7603, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM to 4:30 PM. This project will include the removal and replacement of the Generator Building upper andlower roofs at the Butterworth STP including the replacement of the tectum deck with steel deck.The Contract Bid Documents may be obtained by any prospective bidder upon payment of a fee for each set offull-sized drawings with specifications by calling 1-877-424-3738 or by online request at www.bidset.com/mott.Shipping charges are additional and variable depending upon the pick-up or delivery option selected by thepurchaser. Contract Bid Documents cannot be obtained at the Township Municipal Building or at MottMacDonald’s office. The printing cost is not refundable.Bids for the contract must be submitted on standard proposal forms furnished by the Township of Morris in themanner designated therein and required by the Specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelopebearing the name and address of the bidder and must be addressed to the Purchasing Department, Township ofMorris, 50 Woodland Avenue, PO Box 7603, Convent Station, New Jersey 07961-7603 and clearly marked“OTE: 2025-03, BUTTERWORTH SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT ROOF REPLACEMENT AT GENERATORBUILDING” on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM. No bids will be accepted after the bid openinghas commenced. Bids may be hand delivered, mailed, or submitted by courier, and must be received by thetime, date, and place specified above. The Township of Morris will not assume responsibility for bids forwardedby mail or delivery service.The guaranty accompanying the bid proposal shall be given in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid,minimum of $500.00 and not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00) and may be given at the option ofthe bidder by a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or a Bid Bond from a reputable insurance company licensedin the State of New Jersey.Pursuant to P.L. 2004, c.57 (N.S.A. 52:32-44) effective September 1, 2004, all business organizations thatconduct business with a New Jersey government agency are required to be registered with the State of NewJersey. Bidders and their subcontractors must submit proof that they are registered with the New JerseyDepartment of Treasury, Division of Revenue by submitting a copy of their Business Registration Certificate.Failure to provide the Business Registration Certificate prior to award of the contract will be cause for rejectionof the bid as being nonresponsive.Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17-27. Bids maybe held by the Township of Morris for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids forthe purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.Pursuant to P.L. 2010, c. 108, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3 authorizes a bidder to request withdrawal of a public worksbid due to a mistake on the part of the bidder within five days after the opening of the bids.The Township reserves the right to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2.Michelle FischerPurchasing Agent
