Description: The project will consist of the following work, to begin after October 24, 2026: ?Construction of a parking lot. ?Construction of two pavilion site plans. ?Concrete slabs for two pavilions. ?Sidewalk Improvements. ?Erosion and sediment control. ?Related incidental work. The County will award the contract on a lump sum bid. Bid documents consisting of project manual and drawings are open to the public for inspection at the following locations: Owner: Greene County, Administration Building, 40 Celt Road, Stanardsville,VA 22973 and online under related documents A non-mandatory guided site visit will be held at 1:00 P.M. on May 14, 2026. This will be the only scheduled opportunity for a site visit; no exceptions will be made. The site is located at 512 Jeri Allen Way, Ruckersville, VA 22968. Bid documents in Adobe Acrobat format (pdf) may be obtained from Greene County, at no charge. Bidder must include contact person, email to receive bid documents, business address and telephone. Bid Security: Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the base bid. Bidders must be licensed as contractors in the Commonwealth of Virginia in accordance with Title 54.1, Chapter 11 of the Code of Virginia (1950) as amended.
