The Request for Proposals may be obtained online at www.amherstma.gov/bids .
Proposals shall be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. on December 8, 2025, to the Town of Amherst’s Accountant’s Office.

413-259-3026Download Available: yes Fee: no Plan & Spec Available: www.amherstma.gov/bids Business Hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm Qualifications: Testing Agency must have at least two years of experience as an agency in whole-building pressure-testing of large complex and/or multi-zoned buildings similar to this project. The lead pressure test technician must have at least two years of building pressure test experience in using the specified ASTM E3158 testing standard. The lead thermographer must have (at least) an active Level II Certification that is based on the requirements in ANSI/ASNT CP-105 or ANSI/ASNT CP-189 and is in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A. Thermographic equipment operators, data analysts and report writers must comply with the requirements of ISO 6781-3.
Special Requirements: Any individuals from the Testing Agency providing services on site will be required to submit documentation for a criminal record check (CORI) prior to coming on site. Miscellaneous: The Testing Agency shall conform to the applicable requirements of: “Recommended Requirements for Independent Laboratory Qualification” by the American Council of Independent Laboratories. Inspectors shall, for the duration of the project, hold and maintain in good standing, all certifications, licensing and registrations required by the Contract Documents and the various agencies noted herein. These certifications, licenses and registrations shall include but are not limited to those of the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT) Certification, The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), the International Code Council (ICC) Certification, and others.
