Category: Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County - The Bus Status: Open Description: Notice is hereby given that the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County (TJPAMC) has released project number RFP20250724TJPAMC – Hydrogen Fueling Station and Fuel Delivery. TJPAMC is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to either lease a mobile hydrogen fueling station or purchase a hydrogen fueling station and deliver hydrogen fuel, in support of its transition to zero-emission operations. The station will be located at 802 Beechcraft Road, Merced, California 95341.

A pre-proposal meeting and site visit will be held on August 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. PDT at the future station location: 802 Beechcraft Road, Merced, California 95341. Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received by TJPAMC on or before the closing deadline. TJPAMC is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. TJPAMC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only.
In compliance with Title 49 CFR Part 26, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise’s (DBE) are encouraged to submit a Proposal and will be afforded full opportunity to participate in this solicitation. The resulting contract from this solicitation has no specific contract DBE goal. However, TJPAMC has an overall DBE goal of 1%. Note that prospective proposers will not be required to submit good faith efforts.
Communications from proposers shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alexandra Arroyo, Procurement Specialist II, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other TJPAMC employees or consultants with respect to the proposal documents or project.
