Project Description

Sacramento County Department of Airports Consolidated Rental Car Facility

The Sacramento County Department of Airports (SCDA) is advancing development of a new Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) at Sacramento International Airport (SMF) as part of the SMForward capital program.

The planned facility will create a walkable rental car experience from both Terminal A and Terminal B, reduce shuttle dependency, improve wayfinding, and provide modern customer service facilities. The project also supports sustainability goals, community workforce participation, and small business opportunities.

On April 16, 2026, the Department hosted an Industry Day to provide prospective firms with an overview of the project and an introduction to the Department's upcoming solicitation plans.
