Excavate down to and expose the tunnel roof.  Laterally shore the tunnel walls prior to the removal of the tunnel roof.  (The tunnel roof is currently supporting a steam pipe anchor frame; a steam shutdown is required while the roof is removed and until the steam anchor is reconnected to the tunnel roof). Replace the tunnel roof as indicated.  Perform the spall repairs and replace the vault hatch and ladder. Apply the waterproofing membrane around the vault and tunnel roof.  Restore the area including sidewalks and pavement.Install new conduit, conductors, and electrical fittings indicated from junction box to junction box to areas where spall repairs and tunnel roof replacement take place.  Remove the disconnected electrical items once the new work is installed
