Description: The Town of Apex Electric Department is conducting a qualification-based selection process for engineering services for a new substation.  Interested engineering firms are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) package for consideration no later than 12:00 PM on June 11 th , 2026. The proposed substation will consist of a 230kV-24kV, 40 MVA transformer supplying three feeders from a 2,000A bus system with provisions for another three feeders and transformer in the future.
