The Judicial Council of California, chaired by the Chief Justice of California, is the chief policy making agency of the California judicial system. The California Constitution directs the Council to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business, recommending improvements to the courts, and making recommendations annually to the Governor and Legislature. The Council also adopts rules for court administration, practice, and procedure, and performs other functions prescribed by law. The Judicial Council is the staff agency for the Council and assists both the Council and its chair in performing their duties.
The Judicial Council seeks to identify and retain up to two (2) qualified temporary staffing Contractors (also referred to as Master Agreement Holders and Proposers) to supply the Judicial Council and any Participating Judicial Branch Entity (JBE’s), each a “Participant,” with high-quality, cost-effective, professional, and administrative temporary personnel. The Master Agreement Holders will serve as the qualified bid list for Participant’s temporary professional administrative staff requirements for the duration of the Master Agreement contract term. This RFP is a means for prospective temporary staffing contractors to submit their qualifications and proposal response to the Judicial Council and request selection as a result of this RFP.
Questions should be directed to solicitations@jud.ca.gov (link sends email) and must be received no later than 1:00 PM Pacific Time, February 6, 2025.
Proposals must be received by the Judicial Council no later than 1:00 PM, Pacific Time, March 6, 2025.
Further details regarding the solicitation are set forth in RFP No. HR-2024-18-LP and related documents provided in the attachments below.
AttachmentsThe Judicial Council, as a public entity, prohibits direct contact with any Council personnel during the solicitation process in order to maintain fairness and equality to all proposers.
Proposers are specifically directed NOT to contact any judicial branch entity personnel or consultants for meetings, conferences, or discussions that are related to the solicitation at any time between release of the solicitation and any award and execution of a contract.
Unauthorized contact with any judicial branch entity personnel or consultants may be cause for rejection of the Proposer’s proposal. - Commodity Codes
