IFB No. 26-071 | Bus Stop Improvements Group M

In accordance with the N.C.G.S. § 143-129, through this Invitation for Bid (IFB), GoTriangle seeks to contract with a qualified firm capable of delivering high-quality, cost-effective construction services that support GoTriangle’s mission to provide safe, reliable, and equitable public transportation throughout the region.

The scope of this project includes site amenity and improvements to bus stops Group M located within the Durham City Limits listed within the Scope of Work. The awarded contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, machinery, and materials necessary to complete the work in full compliance with the contract terms. The work shall consist of clearing, grading, concrete pads and sidewalks, installing amenities, traffic control, and other related items.

To: All Bidders,

This addendum includes the following additions, clarifications, and/or modifications and shall

become a part of the plans and specifications. This addendum shall supersede the original bid

documents in the event of any conflict.

Questions and Answers:

1) Q: Is nighttime work required?

A: Refer to the NCDOT Encroachment Agreement provisions (sheet 2A note 28).

2) Q: Bid form line item 19 – is this install only?

A: Yes. The light will be provided.

3) Q: Are the bollards to be painted

A: Bollards are to be coated in accordance with the updated bollard detail sheet included

with this addendum, which provides the required coating and finish.

The bollard detail is uploaded as a separate document on GoTriangle’s website.

4) Q: It appears that there are 2 Demolition Items Listed on the bid form, item #2 & Item

#4. Can you please provide some clarity on this?

A: Item “4” – Revise from “DEMOLITION” to “EROSION CONTROL”.
