Description:	The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Animal Care and Control (DACC) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain information from organizations that are capable and interested in providing small, deceased animal pickup services in the field. DACC currently provides deceased animal pickup services in the field in-house though our animal control officers. Requests for deceased animal pickup services are received via phone and online from local residents. These requests are currently dispatched to DACC’s animal control officers stationed throughout the County. The County is surveying the market for organizations that provide small, deceased animal field pickup services. DACC is researching the efficiency and effectiveness of contracting out for its deceased animal field pickup services.
