Description

The Contract is awarded on behalf of the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). The ODMHSAS is contracting for disbursement of COVID Mitigation funds that were disbursed to ODMHSAS, by SAMHSA, to be distributed, pursuant to SAMHSA approved proposals, for the sole purpose of COVID-19 testing and mitigation. ODMHSAS plans to target these funds for mental health and substance use disorder congregate treatment and recovery settings serving individuals with the most significant psychiatric needs, which tend to be the most impacted and highest risk treatment and recovery facilities in the state. These funds will provide resources and flexibility to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and ensure the continuity of services to support individuals connected to the behavioral health system. These funds will be distributed to entities based upon the number of beds that they have.
