The Scottish Rite Cathedral is owned and home to the Valley of Harrisburg Consistory and its concordant Scottish Rite bodies, The Masonic Temple Association of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, which includes several Masonic Blue Lodges, York Rite bodies and Masonic Youth groups. The Cathedral also offers a spacious 1,192-seat auditorium with a full stage boasting one of the largest curtains in the Harrisburg area which can accommodate just about any concert or theater performance.
