The City of Springfield Development & Public Works Department, Operations Division, is establishing a list of pre-approved, certified electricians for new construction, maintenance, and repair activities. The scope includes, but is not limited to, work in the public right of way and on public infrastructure requiring experience working on illumination and specialized traffic equipment. The City is not responsible for any explanation, clarification, interpretation or approval made or given in any manner except by written Addendum issued by the City.
Addenda will not be issued within 72 hours of the RFQ response deadline without extending the RFQ deadline.

RFQ: Traffic On-Call Electrical ServicesAttachment 1Statement of WorkPurpose of Project:The City desires to pre-qualify firms available to provide traffic electrical services, with the intention tocontract with multiple qualified firms on an on-call, as needed basis for electrical construction, maintenance,and repair projects as they arise. On-Call Contracts may be awarded to firms that are qualified to performindividual or multiple services described herein. Large, midsize, or small firms with the capacity to providedesignated services are encouraged to respond. The City encourages proposers who are minority, womanowned and emerging small businesses to participate in City projects.Services under the On-Call Contract will be provided on an as-needed basis through discrete WorkOrders (see "Attachment 5 On-Call Work Order Example”). Work orders will be used to assign work and willdefine the specific scope, schedule, and budget for each project. The duration of the On-Call Contract will befor a period of twelve months from contract approval, with the option of extension for up to two years at theCity’s discretion. The contracted hourly rate may be re-negotiated for each extension.
