Overview

Summary

The Beach Access Vehicular Ramp at El Portal was destroyed during Hurricane Nicole in 2022. This project will reconstruct the Beach Access Vehicular Ramp and restore safe pedestrian and vehicle access to the Beach at this location. This project will consist of composite sheet pile seawall panels, concrete cap, reinforced concrete vehicular ramp, curbing, pedestrian sidewalk and site restoration. Laydown area, equipment and materials must be kept on the County of the Right of Way and vehicular access and parking to the two adjacent properties must be maintained at all times.
